Course Overview
This qualification prepares individuals to work as managers in community sector organisations. You will develop the skills to plan, lead and monitor service delivery, and support organisational goals and strategic directions.
You will work independently and report to senior management, directors, or boards. You will use judgement and leadership skills to manage people, resources, and daily operations across a range of community service settings.
You will also develop skills in staff recruitment, performance management, risk management, and continuous improvement. Roles may include managing a program, project, or an entire community-based organisation such as a not-for-profit, community centre, or early childhood service.
Skills are applied in accordance with organisational requirements and industry standards.
There are no licensing or certification requirements for this qualification.
